Completely new to the site and did a couple of look ups on the forum for a bit. Got a nudge or two, but, they're quite little so it won't have a lot of effect upon the site as much ;')

- Notification Thread - once an application is done, it would be safe to assume that people would message a staff member to approve it. In order to come up with a simple solution a notification thread for finished apps would help out staff members to differentiate which application is done and which isn't. Also to help them to notice the character board from time to time.

- Template saver - so to those who have never used this in the past, the template save (i say that since it's simple for me) would save your templates! You don't need to quote your previous post or look through old threads in order to find that perfect template you're looking for! clicks here

Vagabond has actually suggested a notification thread. I've been kinda busy lately so I haven't had much of a chance to look into it. I've actually never heard of it before or have much of an idea on how it works. Could you give me more information on it? I don't think I have ever been on a forum that has ever used it. So please mind me lack of information about it! Heh...

A template saver sounds like a nice idea! We'll be sure to look into it.

Notification Thread - for example: "Once you've finished your application, please post a link here so that the staff can review and accept it. We will try to view your application within 48 hours. If we haven't by then, then please PM one of the staff. Applications not posted here will not be reviewed." Mainly the notification thread can be for any form of purpose, for this type of notification it's mainly to give a shout out to the staff members "Yo finished app, can you review it?".

couple new suggestions coming your way, aight.

NPC Moderators: This is just something I came up with really; staff members can have a go at it really. 

NPC Moderators deal with those who request an NPC thread for training (lvl'ing up their character in a certain aspect or however you view it as). For the NPC's it would be rolled out (or it can be requested) as to the race and the moves used for the NPC can be up to three (up to the staff to decide; three seems logical to start out with). NPC trainers should be a request only ONE per member.

WILD Moderators: Same goes with NPC's really.

WILD Moderators are essentially the same as NPC Moderators, except, WILD Moderators deal with people who are in the wild and request a moderator (ergo with the idea of WILD Moderators really). A WILD request should at least be five of "summoning" monsters, rolled out by the moderator. WILD requests should be ONE per member.

I'm horrid with explanations really, but hopefully you get the gist of this.

Will do! Or actually I was thinking about members using it for other things like if they receive basically money for completing a quest. I think staff members will have to take care of that, if I'm correct.

Vagabond has suggested that staff members be able to RP as bosses or other basically NPC characters and I really like the idea of having moderators strictly be for those. So we have already considered implementing this. It's just me being kinda busy and away from the computer as well as forgetting to add it to the staff application.

Notification thread for applications and then something like Update Me! for those who receive money for completing a quest. And perhaps in every city there should at least be a Bar-Motel to indicate the player has been there. The Bar-Motel would be that one thread where members would go: "Healing self, updating spells/moves/whatever" Again, I'm bad at explaining things really.
The Update Me! for example can be something like this: excuse the horrible coding pls

Here is but another humble suggestion, due to the site being new and the cbox have yet to be upgraded, perhaps start out with www.smartchatbox.com/ it's completely free to some degree, but, it auto refreshes and whatnot. You can do almost a lot of things with smartchatbox like you can do with cbox.
