Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko, Erio Touwa
As you can see, Mio has light blue hair and bright blue eyes. For dress attire, she wears a baby blue and white lower thigh length dress, the bottom flowing out slightly. The baby blue covers the front, including the bodice, the white stripped at the sides. It's pure silk, thin straps holding the dress together. Over the dress is a white sleeveless trench coat, that goes down to her ankles, trailing behind her. The coat has a borderline of baby blue. When the coat goes below her knees it turns to a see through white and sheer looking material, allowing it to flow. Arm gloves cover her arms in the same type of material with the same kind of border. She wears white boots, a baby blue heart in the center, that goes up to her ankles and thigh length white stockings. This creates an airy yet stylish costume. Her hair hangs loose, but when she's cooking or doing some type of activity, she will put it up into a high ponytail.

Player Appearance Example 2
As seen from the pictures, instead of blue and and blue eyes, Emi has brown hair and greenish/bluish eyes. She's slender and is at a height of about 5'1, being very small for her age. She still attends school, so she mostly wears her school uniform, when she's at home, she wears sweat pants and a t shirt, not being the preppiest of girls. She can run decently, but definitely is not that fast, and she is a perfectly healthy and normal girl. If you ever saw her, she'd probably be holding coffee, because she stays up late.

LOCATION: osaka, japan
Emi was born December of 2008 in London, to a very poor family. The family, not able to take care of her after six years, set her up for adoption. She remembered her mother and father sobbing when they gave her up, that memory etched into her heart forever. She knew that they did what was right and held no grudges toward them, promising that one day she would see them again. In 2015, when she was seven she was fully adopted to a family that resided in Japan. The woman had given birth the same month and year that Emi had been born, but the little baby girl had unfortunately passed away a year after she had been born. Due to all the grief, the woman had become barren, and decided to adopt Emi, who was the same age her daughter would have been. This helped her cope as the family became happier with Emi around. She bought light into there world.
For years Emi lived a peaceful life, growing into a beautiful and lovely person, but she was extremely shy. She was an introvert and she was always reading, anywhere and everywhere, caught in a fantasy world. A year after she had been adopted, in 2016, she began piano lessons, which she loved. This filled her adopted mother with joy as she played for her, growing more and more skilled each year. It became a passion for Emi as she also enjoyed singing. She was the little girl that they dreamed of having and they treated her well. Emi soon forgot about her real parents, remembering them from time to time, but knowing that things were better this way.
In the beginning of 2022, the nerve gear was released. Emi couldn't help but take interest as it had talked about a virtual reality where you could be whatever you wanted. She asked her parents to buy her one and they eventually gave in, thinking it would be harmless, considering it was just a game. It might even help her social skills as she could be more outgoing and find a suitor to marry her. On November 6th, 2022 though, everything changed as Sword Art Online released and became online for everyone around Japan. Emi was excited as she entered, not knowing she would be stuck there for two years. As she was stuck, she made several friends, fighting through many levels and gaining skill points. Eventually though, after a year and a half she became tired and wanted a break, taking that break as she started to hang out with friends and enjoy her life. She didn't know if she would ever leave, so she had to embrace it as her new life, missing all the loved ones she had lost.
When Sword Art finally ended in 2023, Emi was stuck on the game with 299 other players. She was eventually released in 2024, her parents ecstatic as they had never given hope. This was the beginning of her recovery as she had to go through a lot of therapy and training. She was weak, but she was strong minded and eventually became healthier, gaining strength each and every day. Her parents started homeschooling her, not ready for her to go back into the real world. They wanted to catch her up on her education and at seventeen, she didn't know as much as she should have known. Within six months she had regained all her knowledge, going through intense learning as she was put through several tests.
All the while she had convinced her parents to get the new and safer version of the nerve gear. They were extremely weary as they had already lost her daughter, but allowed it when they realized that it was much safer. This was when she joined ALO, in 2025. It was to be her first reality game since SAO, and she was excited as she learned the new ways she can do things. She was allowed to play as long as she kept up with her school work. When she joined ALO, was also when she officially joined the real world, creating entrance exams for her school and being accepted as a third year. She was a year behind but was excited nonetheless. She was still shy though as she stayed cautious with who she was around. She felt safer when she was online, being someone completely new and making several new friends. Her life consisted of School, Studying, Family and ALO, and she couldn't have been more content.

~Emi~
Emi ran up the stairs, her school bag dragging behind her as she entered her room and shut the door. She would worry about her homework later as today; a large event had been planned on ALO. She placed her bag down in front of the door, grabbing her nerve gear and heading toward her bed. She plopped down on it immediately as she put on the device that would take her out of this world and into a different reality. She couldn't wait to be back in her fantasy as she clicked the on button, entering into the realm that had become wildly popular.
~Mio~
Her feet touched the ground as Mio landed gracefully onto a grassy area. She looked around happily as she was already placed in the forest to fight. Her baby blue wings disappeared as she took her wand out and aimed it forward. She had to at least meet up with one of her partners before she fought. Mio was a support character, and didn’t do actual fights. She ran forward as she heard a shout, her ears perking. That usually meant a bad sign as she stopped, seeing a large monster appear in her vision, a fairy flying backwards. She raised her wand and shouted “Heal thou, healing water”, healing the person immediately. The man looked at her gratefully and smiled, nodding softly as he quickly went after the monster.
The boy was still too weak though as he was thrown backwards. Mio groaned softly as she quickly thought of a different move to use, finally saying “I shoot four glacial arrows”. A blue target appeared in her eyesight as she aimed it at the nearly finished monster. The man was on the ground, panting heavily as his health had hit red. She swung her wand down as the four arrows shot at the beast, hitting it directly in the heart. The beast turned into millions of pixels as it was murdered, and Mio nodded proudly. She looked down at the man and put her wand near him, whispering the healing incantation again, healing the new man She had just met. He stood up, thanking her happily as he bowed.
That was when he ran off, Mio waving after him. She was glad to help others, especially since she still hadn’t found her partner yet. She opened up her main menu and went to her friends list to see if her friend had logged on, finding out that he had not yet gotten on. She sighed a bit as she sat herself down against a tree, leaning against it as she rested. She would just have to wait for him.
As she waited, she was reminded of the times in Sword Art, celebrating after moving up a floor and not dying. She never knew how she did it, and how she managed not to die. All she knew was that she was a survivor and she was proud of herself. It’s probably why she was so keen on helping everyone, and was considered a very strong support character. She worked well in virtual reality games, and that’s what made everything better. After a while of waiting and reminiscing, her partner finally appeared, and together they completed the event they had been waiting for, for quite some time, excitement coursing through their veins.
